Planting: For best results, plant in full sun with at least six hours of direct sunlight each day. This tree thrives in most soil types, including sandy and clay soils, as long as the soil is well-draining.

Watering: Once established, the Leyland Cypress is drought-tolerant, requiring minimal watering. During the first few months, water regularly to help your tree develop a strong root system. After that, rainfall should suffice, but in dry periods, a deep watering once a week is recommended.

Pruning: While pruning isn’t necessary, you can easily shape your Leyland Cypress to suit your desired height and width. If left untrimmed, it will naturally grow into a pyramidal shape.
